Bogart Speaks: September School Day and Other Muster Things

To the Washington County Militia,

Greetings all. The September muster is upon us and as you know this one is always a special event. We are planning a school day for Friday Sept. 24th. Anyone wishing to participate in that please let me know as soon as possible. We are going to try something new with the school day this year. There will be no set rotation schedule, just set up and demonstrate your craft or skill and let the children wander around. We will also be presenting the lantern light tours on the evening of Saturday, Sept. 25th. Anyone wishing to participate in that please let me know ASAP. The OVTA will probably help in that as well so we should have a really nice evening program for the public.

Also if anyone wants to present a special program during the weekend, let me know by next week so I can get it on the schedule. If you have any questions or concerns please let me know. As always everyone has been doing a great job at our past events, keep up the good work.

Take care – Captain Bogart
