Washington County Regiment of N.C. Militia 
Found this info as I was searching for my Tipton Ancestors. Had to pass it along to the unit. Did find some info on my mmother’s family from Greene Co. since Rev War times coming from Pennsyvania after leaving Germany. So interesting searching archives, my great grandfather was a Cherokee Indian. He isnt listed on my grandmothers birth certificate only mother is white and father is unknown colored.
